Background: Ashok has been in scouting for about 10 years and considers the Scout of the World award to be the biggest highlight in his scouting adventure, and he strongly recommends all scouts around the world to achieve. He has been really lucky to meet scouts from around the world who share the sentiments as him on this award.

He loves doing mangrove clean-ups, nature activities, and most certainly, teaching young and aspiring scouts on nature conservation and scouting activities.

Background: Yong Liang has taken part in the 4th Scouts of the World Voluntary Service project, Project Orion II. He likes to share his experience to the Scouting community as he believes educating people is the first step to conserving the environment. Only through proper education people will realize the extent of the problem, therefore he would like to take a step at a time to educate his family and peers around him to realize and be aware of the issues around us. A little at a time goes a long way.

Background: With a degree in Biological Sciences, Sijie has made nature and environment related fields his playground. Besides his background in nature and environment, he is also familiar with service learning and has also been involved in education outreach and practices. He has been leading Youth Expedition Projects (YEP) since 2003.

Role in YIP: Overall Coordinator for YIP and National Coordinator for Scouts of the World Award (SWA) and World Scout Environment Programme (WSEP)
